is it Better to maintain or repair my window screens?

My business is to repair and replace residential window screens. However, I believe maintaining window screens can significantly extend their usefulness. It has been my experience once window screens are installed they are rarely, if ever, maintained.

A Neglected window screen attracts insects!

A NEGLECTED WINDOW SCREEN Accumulates dust and pollen!

Seasons of dust and pollen build up between window and screen.

A NEGLECTED WINDOW SCREEN hides water drainage problems!

Occasionally remove and clean your window screens to expose any problems. Schedule a different side of your home every year as an easy window screen maintenance program.

For cleaning, use a soft bristle brush with mild soap and water on both side of screen, Rinse with light pressure hose. Don't use power washer or garden hose with high pressure jet setting, Let completely dry before re-installing.
