PRICING STARTS WITH "UNITED INCH"

The industry standard used for providing pricing for screen projects is United Inch (height + width = United Inch). Building code requires 5 square feet egress for bedroom windows. The average double hung window is 3'-0" wide by 5'-0" high. 
The average screen (bottom half) is 34" x 30" or 64 United Inches. 


Screens can be REPAIRED (wash and re-use existing frame, new screen, spline, pull tabs) or REPLACED (entirely new materials) The cost for the example above would be 64 x .54 = $35.00 Repaired, $40 Replaced. If you have several screens, total the heights and total the widths. Add the totals together to determine (united inch) and multiply by the standard insect screen price. Patio screen, aluminum screen and solar screen prices vary.
